“India’s salvation depends upon the sacrifice and enlightenment
of her women” – Mahatma Gandhi. Keeping this in mind, the
Inner Wheel Club of Bombay has focused on women empowerment
in rural and urban areas, microfinance, education of tribal
children and offering employment avenues to ensure social
and economic justice.
It has also attended to the needs of the physically and visually
challenged and senior citizens. Soil/Water conservation projects,
vermi composting, providing drinking water, constructing sanitation
blocks, and producing smokeless fuel have helped to save the
environment and control pollution.
In this manner, we have attempted to “ Help” bring “Hope”
by pursuing the ideals of friendship and service.
