In Inner Wheel Club of Bombay, along with giving donations our emphasis is also on our members being associated with various institutions so that we get first hand knowledge of the utilization of the funds given. The current on going projects in various fields are as follows :

To help Physically Handicapped, we sponsor education, provide Calipers and other aids, pay for surgeries and give them a smile by organizing Diwali, X-mas parties and sports days with Institutes such as Society for the Rehabilitation of Crippled Children (SRCC), SEC Day School, NASEOH and Institute of Deaf and Mutes – Mazgaon.

Visually Impaired are helped through Jagruti School at Alandi, M.N. Banaji Industrial Home for the Blind; Blind Persons Association, Lions Home for the Aging Blind; Organise for Surgeries, Vocational Training, Educations, Computers or in any way they need help.

We help the underprivileged in the Medical field by helping our Municipal Hospitals. Donate equipments such as Ventilator, Anesthesia Machine, specialized baby warmers at Sion Hospital (LTMH), Nair Hospital, run a HUMAN MILK BANK at Sion Hospital and KEM Hospital . TB patients through Chetna Foundation, Cancer patients with V-Care, CPAA. Also organize various medical camps. Also help needy with medical bills after verification. We run a free dispensary at BDD Chawls, Worli.

Education: We assist deserving students with tution fees and our members regularly go to Ambedkar Municipal School, Worli to teach English. We also support Ashramshala, the school for Adivasi Children at Wakdi.

Senior Citizens are looked after at Parukh Dharamshala, J.J. Dharamshala and with Chetna Foundation. We take them to movies, organize magic shows and parties, help with medical aid.

Low Income women around Worli area are given Vocational Training and then encouraged to start their own business through our Micro Finance Scheme. There are many success stories.

We take care of the Environment by helping to plant saplings, rain water harvesting and giving garden plots for organic farming for medicinal plants.
